Meet Nicole

As an avid reader, Nicole has always loved how the words on a page can bring stories and characters to life. With an active imagination and a passion for telling stories, Nicole understands the transformative power of words and the impact they can have on a reader.

Nicole completed Simon Fraser University's Editing Certificate in July 2024. In addition, she has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English Literature and Cultural Studies from Trent University (2014) and a Bachelor of Education in Intermediate/Senior English and Drama from Queen's University (2015). Before transitioning to writing and editing full-time, Nicole spent years as an early intervention reading coach, which sparked her interest in helping new and experienced writers hone their craft and share their stories.

Nicole lives in Ontario, Canada with her husband and daughter. When she's not editing or writing, she can usually be found devouring contemporary romance novels, puttering around the kitchen pretending she's on a baking show, or sitting anywhere but her desk.
